Steder Group FZE in Djibouti, transported five large pieces of earthmoving equipment from Djibouti Port to the 5,250-megawatt Grand Renaissance Dam project in the western part of Ethiopia.
A distance of approximately 1,800 kilometers was covered in about three weeks, according to a statement from the Worldwide Project Consortium on behalf of its member Steder Group.The project is located about 25 miles east of Sudan on the Blue Nile River.
The convoy transported two 72-tonne wheel-loaders, two 65-tonne excavators and one 50-tonne dumptruck.

Oh! This is really what we are dreaming for. Please be strong. I am eager to finish my study soon and join to this project. We graduates have to serve this dam for free for 1 or 2 years as Americans has done for their country. This is more than politics. However, I am afraid of siltation as a major enemy of this dam. There fore, every citzen in the catchment has hold a bucket of soil at the homestead and it is as important as the engineer for the dam.

YES ! It is HISTORY in the making, it could take years all of us who are LOVING thi s NATION should travel extra miles to achieve, it is the GREAEST achievement ,and being LUCKY getting a chance to throw a stone in the DAM. Our forefathers since time fought to get something out of it ,GOD has showed the way to the privailling leadership of our country how to start and finish it ,regardless of our political out look we have to participate and make HISTORY.
